Take it easy on me, it's my first one! ;o)
Carousel Note Card Tote by Kelly A. Swienton
I'm on a roll with these Carousel Notes from the Occasions Mini! Here's how to make this card tote I created today:
Seal envelope shut. Stamp as desired. Measure to 5-1/2" in paper trimmer and cut. Score at 1/2" on the three sides of the envelope that have NOT been cut. You are just making a bagalope here. Bend at scores and shape into bagalope as shown on video. Take Carousel note and score as shown in the video, ensuring you have 11 scallops on each side beyond the score lines. You are scoring on either side of the middle scallop. Attach Carousel Note to Bagalope by skipping one scallop before adhering, so that when you put envelopes in the bagalope with your cards there will be ample room for the top part to close. Finish with a velcro dot to keep top closed. Punch two holes for ribbon with your Cropadile. Finish embellishing as desired. For the inner circle I used the largest circle of my circle Coluzzle template with the DSP. I used my Pick a Petal brass stencil as a guide to poke my holes with the paper piercer and to add the white dots with my white gel pen.
Stamp Set: Live Your Dream
Cardstock: Groovy Guava, Afternoon Tea DSP, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: White Craft, Groovy Guava, Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: White embossing powder, Daubers, Taffeta ribbon, Pretties Kit, Coluzzle circle template, white gel pen, circle punches

Great job Kelly. Really amazing little bag. A perfect gift idea. What are the dimensions of the envelope you used and where did you get it? Thanks for sharing with us all.

Hi Tracy - Thank you for the compliment. The envelope comes from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini catalog and is sold along with the Carousel Notes. They are 6" envelopes.
Awesome Kelly! Your blog is such fun to read!
Great job on the video girls! Love the project so much that I may go make one now!
Thank you for the great video. Your directions were very clear and the example adorable. I think that this might make a great Mothers Day gift for my mom who loves hand stamped cards!

Great minds think alike well sort of since yours requires less steps and it utilizes the large envelopes which at this point I have many extras...wt to do with those now? LOL! Great job on your first video tutorial, have yet to venture out into video land.
